Barbara started her career as an Insurance Agent & Financial Planner with The Prudential Insurance Company in 1993. In 1995, she opened an insurance office as an Exclusive Agent with the Allstate Insurance Company. In 1998, Allstate Insurance Company awarded Barbara "Honor Ring Status" for being one of the nation's top achievers!

In 2001, The Federation of Houston Professional Women awarded Barbara the "Woman of Excellence Award". Additionally, County Judge Robert Echols issued a Proclamation applauding her role in "expanding the power, capabilities and potential of Houston professional women". Barbara is a past President of Tomball Business & Professional Women and is currently serving as Scholarship Chairwoman. She is active in the Tomball School District, serving on the Rosehill Elementary Campus Improvement Team. She is a 2004 graduate of the prestigious Leadership North Houston Program sponsored by the North Houston Area Chambers of Commrece. Barbara is currently serving as a Board member for the Tomball Area Chamber of Commerce. She has served as a Girl Scout Leader and is currently volunteering for the West Harris County 4-H, the American Miniature Horse Youth Club, and Tomball Sports Association.

Barbara enjoys gardening and photography. She spends free time watching her daughter, Rachel, show horses and her son, Eric, play baseball. She and her husband, Fred, also own Pecos Grilling Company Restaurant in Tomball, Sembera Security Systems, and Sembera Properties, both in Cypress, Texas.

As a licensed Insurance Advisor, I have worked 19 years in the insurance industry in the Cypress area and with Barbara Sembera's Agency since 2001. The most enjoyable part of my work is builidng a relationship with our customers. Having raised three teenagers, I understand the questions of adding a young driver. In my spare time, I like to kick up my heels with my Red Hat sisters, play bunco, and go to the theatre.

I have worked for Barbara Sembera's Agency as a Licensed Insurance Service Representative since 2001. I previously was responsible for renewing Commercial Insurance Packages with a company in Houston. I appreciate the opportunity to speak with customers about Home and Auto personal line policies. I enjoy swimming and bike riding wtih my family.

I'm a graduate of Texas Tech University with an Engineering degree and a Master's of Business Administration. I began my career with Merrill Lynch & Co. in Lubbock, Texas in 1994, and then, in 2003, joined Barbara Sembera's team.

Last year my commitment to my customers earned me the Top Producer Award. As a member of the Financial Planning Association, I am active in doing good things for the community. I reside in Houston with my wife, Christen, and our children, Gabriela and Isabel. My hobbies include teaching at a local community college and coasching track and field athletes.
